N.E.W. Ministries

Do you have a lot of new people moving into your area? Are you moving to a new area yourself? Here is a resource worthy of consideration. It’s called N.E.W. Ministries (Newcomer, Enfolding. Welcoming). Susan Miller, from Scottsdale, Arizona and author of After the Boxes Are Unpacked, started this ministry in 1987 that is committed to the spiritual growth and emotional well-being of women who are going through the transition and adjustment of moving. They have a newsletter, NEWcomer Connection; annual conferences, and resources for starting a newcomer class in your church, including leaders’ materials. They also have a tape series for pastors and their spouses dealing with the different aspects of change. You can contact N.E.W. Ministries at 1-866-587-8668 or via email at newministries@justmoved.org. Their web site is www.justmoved.org.
